Zaragoza's fluvial port

The navigability of the river Ebro allowed that during the Roman period when this port was constructed, and for some following centuries, the fluvial port of the city of Zaragoza turned into an important area of trading, receiving and exporting products and material both of the interior and of the coast. The extension of the port that remains is 286 meters, possessing in addition a big market for the exchange of goods.
